We’re planning a “Love Your Scout Hall Day” and would love your support.This will be a community volunteer day to help tidy, repair, and improve the scout hall for everyone who uses it, with a particular focus on outdoor jobs and improving the outside space.
Details:
Dates: Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May
Time: 10:00am–2:00pm – feel free to drop in for as long as you can
Location: 1st Wolverton Scout Hall, Furze Way
We’ll mainly be working outdoors, with a range of jobs to suit all abilities, including:
• Gardening and outdoor tidying
• Clearing rubbish and general clean-up
• Painting exterior areas
• Small maintenance tasks
• Tip runs (if you have a vehicle)
No specialist skills are required—just a willingness to help. Please dress appropriately for outdoor work and the weather.
If you’re able to join us, please reply to this email and let us know:
• Which day(s) you can attend
• Approximately how long you can stay – even an hour is a big help
• What types of tasks you’d be happy to help with
• Whether you can bring any tools or equipment (e.g. gloves, paint brushes, ladders, gardening tools, trailer/van)
Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Your support will make a real difference to the space our young people use every week, and we’d be very grateful for any time you can give.
