Join us on Saturday, March 21st from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. for Love Our Lakes Day; the City of Tuscaloosa’s annual lake cleanup event hosted by Tuscaloosa Water and the City of Tuscaloosa’s Environmental Services Department. Presented by Tradesman Dock Building Company, this community-driven initiative aims to preserve and protect Lake Tuscaloosa, the primary source for drinking water for Tuscaloosa residents.All volunteers are encouraged to register online at https://www.cognitoforms.com/CityOfTuscaloosa1/_2026LoveOurLakesDayVolunteerRegistration.
The first 75 volunteers to arrive will receive a free t-shirt, and lunch will be provided. Volunteers should check in at the Rock Quarry Boat Landing on Lake Tuscaloosa, where the City’s Environmental Services Division will provide garbage bags and litter pick-up gear.
Let's come together as a community to make a positive impact.
*Volunteers with access to their own boat are encouraged to bring them to assist in cleaning the lake. Volunteers without boats will be assigned to City boats.
