Love on the Lawn at Myers Park Cottage

Buy yourself a love box to share with gourmet goodies made by Merge Café master chefs – they have secret talents. Or maybe just share frozen mocktails (on a stick) on the lawn.
Check out the beautifully restored cottage.
On the menu for your love box is:
2 x Cucumber salmon cream cheese on sunflower bread
2 x Dark rye egg and chive sandwich
2 x Smoked duck, mandarin gel vol a vent
2 x apple and fennel pork sausage rolls
1 x scone jam Chantilly cream
1 x chocolate and orange cup cake
3 x Caramel and cinnamon financiers with caramelised apple compote, topped with chopped almonds.
3 x Opéra’s (coffee soaked Joconde biscuit, coffee-flavoured buttercream, chocolate ganache, and chocolate icing).
Buy your ticket now. Love boxes are limited and all proceeds go to Merge Café. Gotta love that.
Or you can rock up for for a cuppa or a frozen mocktail on a stick. Eft-pos only for these choices.

As this is an inner city location we recommend walking, bike or scooter, or public transport.
- On Queen St the closest bus stops are: 7061, 7065, 7063 (heading north, towards the waterfront) and 7062 , 7064 (heading south, up the Queen St hill) or
- On the CityLink bus get off at 1084 or 1080.
- On Pitt St the closest bus stop is 1525.
If travelling by train stop at Karanga-a Hape station, walk down to 72 Greys Ave and take the sign posted alleyway down into the park.
If driving you can park:
- on the road on Greys Ave
- or in nearby parking buildings including 385 Queen St, Secure Parking in 80 Greys Ave or 441 Queen St
