LOVE LAB: Conscious Touch for Couples | Flourishing Intimacy\u00ae Boston, MA A guided couples workshop for conscious touch, communication, and connection | Introduction to the Wheel of Consent®
About this Event

LOVE LAB is a guided experiential workshop for couples who want to strengthen intimacy, communication, and emotional safety through simple but powerful embodied practices.

Most couples were never taught how to:

  • communicate desires clearly without pressure or defensiveness
  • say yes or no honestly while staying connected
  • understand the difference between giving, receiving, pleasing, and genuine choice
  • slow down enough to actually feel themselves and each other
  • create touch that feels nourishing, mutual, and connected

LOVE LAB offers a practical and accessible introduction to the Wheel of Consent, a relational framework developed by Betty Martin that helps couples better understand the often-hidden dynamics underneath touch, intimacy, boundaries, and connection.

If you attended Tantra Date Night For Couples and enjoyed the playful exploration of energy, polarity, sensuality, and connection, LOVE LAB offers a different but complementary experience for couples.

This workshop focuses specifically on the foundations that make deeper intimacy possible: awareness, communication, consent, embodied boundaries, and authentic choice — not only as concepts but as something you can directly experience and practice through guided touch exercises.

Many couples discover that these skills transform not only physical intimacy, but also emotional connection and everyday communication.

IN THIS WORKSHOP, YOU WILL EXPLORE HOW TO:
  • communicate desires, boundaries, and preferences more clearly
  • create more ease and honesty around touch and intimacy
  • understand your own patterns around giving and receiving
  • deepen trust and emotional connection
  • stay more connected to yourself while connecting with your partner
  • experience touch with more presence, relaxation, and awareness
  • create mutual experiences that genuinely feel good for both people

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a fully clothed, guided, trauma-informed workshop with clear structure and respectful facilitation.

Couples stay together throughout the partner exercises.

The practices are simple, accessible, and always optional. You will be invited, but never pressured to participate at your own comfort level.

The atmosphere is always warm, grounded, and respectful.

Many couples leave feeling:

  • more relaxed with each other
  • clearer in communication
  • less pressure around intimacy
  • more emotionally connected
  • more aware of what actually creates closeness and trust

“This workshop gave me a totally new perspective on communication and connection! It helped me define my boundaries and apply them in everyday life. Zhanna has a gift for creating a safe and relaxed environment where exploring intimate things feels comfortable.”
Anna, 36

“The most helpful outcome was having a shared language to use with my partner. The biggest benefit — a new way to take care of oneself and each other, increasing intimacy with partners, friends, and humanity.”
Ahmed, 42 (Clinical Psychologist)

“Learning the Wheel of Consent helped me open to deeper trust, improve communication, and step into the next chapter of our marriage with a healthier attitude.”
Maria, 45
