MEET THE PRESENTERS
Free is a Zenthai Shiatsu therapist, offering Life Coaching, Relationship Support and Couple’s Treatments alongside Kahu, his beloved. In addition, Kahu is a women's wellbeing mentor and offers regular communal heart songs.
Their Life Coaching & Relating-ship Support sessions offer a safe space to be heard - for 'hearticulation' to take place (your heart to speak) and for realisations and resolutions to be experienced by yourself and within your partnership.
Free will initiate a focus on what questions about Love are alive as a 'quest-i-on' and invite folks to share openly their personal 'theme' of their curiosity to facilitate fun, interactive and playful sharing of what is alive in each of us regarding the overall theme of love.
Cara Szellemes is the founder of 180Selfcare, a platform designed to empower you to make small but significant lifestyle changes through practicing radical self-care.
As part of her commitment to empowering more people to practice radical self-care, Cara has begun a Master’s in Counselling and started a somatic counselling and self-care coaching practice in the Glass House Mountains.
Cara’s workshop “SIPPS: The Five Pillars of Radical Self-care” is a powerful journaling process to help you bring balance and intention to your self-care practice and empower yourself in every area of life that is important to you.
When you feel stressed what do you lean into and what do you avoid? Find out in this exquisite conversation.
Once you see what your self-care survival patterns are, and why you lean in to or avoid different areas of life, you can experience real freedom, joy and aliveness, building your innate capacity to love from the inside-out.
Paul, a Sunshine Coast based bodyworker and facilitator, developed a passion for menswork and human connection out of necessity.
When his 10 year relationship and marriage broke down and he found himself without supportive friends, he asked himself where he had gone wrong.
After years of deep inquiry, he is now sharing his learnings with the community to help foster healthy masculinity.
Paul will take us on an exploration of Self in contact with others. We will move through guided meditation, movement, and dialogue while turning our gaze inward. Through Connected Authentic Presence, we will shine light on the supple processes that are at work when we are in contact with somebody. These insights can lead to fundamental shifts allowing for more connection and the freeflow of love.
Arika Yaeli is passionate about creating spaces where we can come together as a community, go beyond our minds and reconnect with the ever-present love within.
For much of her life she focused on transforming her own struggles and dissatisfaction. Through this process, she discovered that true love and fulfillment aren’t found in personal transformation alone, but in collective growth. Now, with her 3 home-educated sons becoming independent, Arika is focusing on facilitating and participating in community transformation.
“Love Is...” emerged from the observation that many seek love externally. Inspired by her own tendencies to look “out there,” Arika envisioned a space for the community to explore the source of love with curiosity, wonder, an open-mind and an open-heart.
Together with the other facilitators, Arika will open the day by welcoming us all into a shared space of connection, setting the collective intention and inviting participants to move beyond mental concepts of love in order to discover it’s felt experience within.
