About this Event
On March 10, Movement for Choice is gathering at PLNTR (1825 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20009) to celebrate and show appreciation for abortion providers and the work they do in our communities every day, affirming each of our rights to our own bodies and futures. 🌿💖
Providers are the backbone of reproductive freedom and are on the frontlines of this movement, yet they are far too often underappreciated. In a moment defined by escalating attacks on bodily autonomy, anti-immigrant policies, and increasing barriers to care, their work is nothing short of heroic. We can’t wait to come together to offer a small but meaningful token of gratitude for all that they do.
Together, we’ll assemble care packages for abortion providers from Meadow Clinic, filled with pampering goodies and handwritten notes of gratitude. We’ll also write thank-you notes for providers working with Our Justice in Minnesota, who continue to serve patients with compassion and courage, particularly members of immigrant communities who are often denied care or face heightened barriers to accessing the services they deserve.
