About this Event
‘Love, health, acres, wealth. All the fires come alive’
— Spell from local witch’s Book of Shadows
This market is full of local magic practitioners, herbalists, apothecaries, story tellers, fortune tellers, spell casters, writers on magic, Tasmanian fairies, and more.
Consider yourself walking amongst these intriguing, wild and dark artists, and imagine yourself as part of that magical story.
There will be performances from Lou Conboy, embodying her Sisyphina lore, Sisters Akousmatica, as well as the Spinnarium, the storytelling oracle.
It is also a chance to have your own Archive, a strangely beautiful perfume created by Hilary Schofield of Liminus, from the scent of the UNESCO Memory of the World listed convict archives.
The market sits amongst the intervention in the Allport Museum and Gallery of Fine Arts featuring work from some of the most exciting artists practising in the country today.
There are still a few stalls available. Please email [email protected] if you would like more information.
This talk is part of the All the fires come alive exhibition events program.
