What can I expect to cover during my 8-week course?
Your course will take you through a range of ceramic techniques from hand-building to throwing on the wheel, ending up with glazing.
The first weeks will be more weighted towards lessons and demonstrations but there will be plenty of time to work on your own with guidance from your tutor, Tarragon.
The second part of the course will allow students to expand on those techniques, though practice, and work on individual projects.
At the end of each session, everybody will play their part in cleaning and tidying up.
Please ensure you are able to attend as many days of the scheduled course as possible before you sign up. We will not refund missed classes, or be able to offer an alternative to any missed sessions. All the classes will be at capacity so we are unable to move people between them.
We are unable to run waiting lists and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The courses often sell out quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
What Do I Need To Bring?
You'll find full information in your welcome email, which is sent automatically upon signing up. All students will need to provide their own tools due to hygiene reasons. These can be picked up inexpensively online. A recommended link will be provided for the tools in your welcome email.
