About this Event
Love Bird Love Bird: A Morning of Birding and Connection
Celebrate the season of amor and amistad with a morning dedicated to birds, nature, and community at the Edith L. Moore Sanctuary. Latino Outdoors and Houston Audubon invite participants to slow down, step outside, and connect with one another, with the outdoors, and with the vibrant birdlife that calls this sanctuary home.
Led by Houston Audubon staff and volunteers, this program offers a welcoming introduction to birding while creating space for experienced birders to deepen their practice. Whether you come with a partner, friends, familia, or on your own, this event is designed to foster curiosity, learning, and a shared love of birds in an intimate natural setting.
Latino Outdoors activities are free and serve our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please only register if you are able to join and honor your reservation. If you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, please cancel, preferably one week prior and no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled outing, so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly. Your consideration helps keep these experiences meaningful and accessible. We appreciate you!
