We’re heading back to Lincoln Jazz Café — and we’re bringing the usual chaos.
For anyone new to us: we’re Joshing About. A live jazz trio that takes songs you already know and plays them slightly wrong on purpose.
You might hear:
– A jazz standard played straight
– Prince sounding suspiciously like a late-night groove
– The Beatles swung
– Something that definitely wasn’t written to be improvised… being improvised anyway
Lincoln Jazz Café is the perfect room for it. It’s intimate, it’s warm, the cocktails are top quality, and the audience actually comes to listen.
