About this Event
Film Screening & Community Discussion – Love and Trouble
The New Tannahill Centre, working in partnership with Laura McGlinn of Scotland’s ACEs Action Community, is pleased to host a special community screening of the powerful documentary Love and Trouble.
This moving film explores recovery from trauma and the lasting impact of adversity. The screening forms part of a wider national tour supported by the ACEs Action Community and contributes to the growing conversation in Scotland around trauma, resilience, and recovery.
Following the screening there will be a panel discussion and audience Q&A, providing an opportunity to reflect on the themes explored in the film and to discuss wider issues such as trauma, poverty, mental health, and community resilience.
The event will take place in a cinema-style setting in the main hall of the Tannahill Centre, with complimentary snacks and soft drinks available to create a relaxed and welcoming movie-night experience.
