LOUPZ and the University of Houston Moores School of Music present Beat Lab, a hands-on summer creative experience where young creators explore music production, sound design, and beat-making in a collaborative studio environment.

Designed for ages 12–17, this immersive lab introduces students to the foundations of modern music creation through hip-hop, electronic, ambient, and experimental sound. Participants will build original beats, experiment with rhythm and melody, and learn how producers shape sound using professional music production tools.

Beat Lab is more than a music class. It’s a space for creativity, collaboration, and self-expression through sound.
