🐎 Not quite ready to hang up those fancy fascinators and seersucker suits? 🌹 Continue the derby excitement with “Louisville’s Other Derby” on Saturday, May 9. Dress in your grandstand gala best or your muddiest infield duds for Louisville Roller Derby’s doubleheader against South Shore Roller Derby at the Triple Crown Pavilion. The May 9 event will feature two thrilling matchups against South Shore Roller Derby you won’t want to miss: All-Stars hit the track at 4:30 p.m. and Bourbon Brawlers call to the post at 7 p.m. Doors open to the public at 4 p.m.
Halftime will feature the Louisville Royals, a local full-contact steel fighting team. Fans are also welcome to visit our local vendor and non-profit booths.
Tickets start at $20 for adults and $12 for children 7-12. Children under 7 are admitted free of charge. Group pricing, season passes and sliding-scale options are also available.
Win, place, or show - a trifecta of fun awaits you! The Triple Crown Pavilion, the new home for Louisville Roller Derby, offers free parking and full concessions, including a bar. The bout will be held on the ground floor with no need for stairs or elevators and is located near major highway exits. Seating and closed captioning will be provided.

About Louisville Roller Derby:
LRD is Louisville's first and only flat track roller derby league. Established in 2005, LRD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They are a diverse league coming together from Louisville and Southern Indiana to pursue excellence through competition and athleticism. They work together to passionately promote roller derby and foster the spirit of the sport while providing marketable sports entertainment for the greater Louisville Metro area. They received their highest honor in 2009 when the Louisville Roller Derby acquired status as an official member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
