Join us on Saturday, April 18th from 2p.m. – 4 p.m. for a book launch party celebrating the release of Quoi t’après faire, Hibou Hébert ? a Louisiana French Children’s book by Marguerite Justus, illustrated by Cayla Zeek.
Local music educators will lead a lively Cajun music workshop. Meet the author and illustrator and enjoy a playful mini lesson in Louisiana French. Relax in the beautiful gardens of the Roy House and snack on donuts and kolaches, fresh fruit, and hot boudin. In the Creativity Corner, young readers and artists can bring their own favorite Louisiana animals to life with coloring pages and our miniature bayou homestead.
