The Louisiana Creole Research Association (LA Creole) invites its members and members of the public to join us for our 20th Annual Conference and other events commemorating our 20 years as an organization. NOVEMBER 8-10, 2024 in NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA.
This year’s theme: RESEARCH & REMEMBER
The conference weekend begins on Friday, NOVEMBER 8th, with our Legacy Legion Gala, a dinner and dance event. On Saturday, NOVEMBER 9th, conference sessions will include virtual and in-person expert panels and interactive workshops that will address genealogy, history, and the evaluation and preservation of family heirlooms. On Sunday morning, NOVEMBER 10th, we will fellowship at a commemorative mass followed by a reception.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8th 2024~
7:30 PM-10:30 PM LEGACY LEGION GALA
This dinner and dance will celebrate LA Creole’s founders, former board members, honored guests, members, and friends. The gala also honors the Legacy Legion, donors who contribute $100 annually to LA Creole in the name of their ancestors. The public is invited to attend. Live music will be performed by “Quiet Storm” and dinner will be catered by Eva’s Café and Catering. TICKETS are $50/Person.
