Deposits & Entry Fees
Deposit – €20 Per Team
After registration, each team must pay a €20 deposit.
This deposit secures your place and covers the return of:
Measuring board
Hi-Vis jacket
The deposit will be fully refunded after the competition once both items are returned.
⚠️ Deposit is not included in the entry fee.
Entry Fee – €60 Per Team
Must be paid before the competition
No entry fees accepted on the day

Competition Times
🕘 Start: 9:00 AM
🕔 Finish: 5:00 PM sharp
No fish will count after 5:00 PM.
Return of Equipment
All measuring boards and Hi-Vis jackets must be returned by 5:15 PM for deposit refund.

Results will be submitted live using the FishDonkey app.

🏆 Longest 5 Perch per team count on the day.
Minimum Size
Perch: 25 cm
Competition Rules
Boat / Team Rules
Teams fish in pairs (2 anglers max)
Maximum 1 rod per angler in use at any time
Maximum 2 rods fishing per boat
Boats must be safe and suitable
Minimum one experienced boatsman onboard
Boats must be checked for pollution discharge
Fish Handling Rules
Fish must be measured on supplied board
Fish must be photographed with team card visible
Fish returned immediately after measuring
Foul-hooked fish do not count

Distance Rules
50 metres from another competitor boat
100 metres from local/non-competition boats
Safety Rules
Lifejackets must be worn by both anglers at all times (no exceptions)
Anglers may not enter the water
Fish hooked before finish but landed after signal do not count
Competition Sector
All boats must fish within the designated sector only.
Maps will be shared in the WhatsApp group.
Boundaries include:
Ballina / Killaloe side entry on the river(no fishing on the river section)
Portumna side entry on the river(no fishing on the river)
Scariff side entry on the river ( no fishing on the river)
⚠️ Any team fishing outside the sector will have results disqualified.
Tie-Break Rule
If two or more teams finish on equal length totals:
🕒 The app records catch time, and earliest qualifying catch decides the winner.
Practice Mode
Practice access will be available in the FishDonkey app before the event.

Important Conditions
Deposit refunded only when all issued items are returned
If a team cancels after deposit payment, deposit is forfeited
All entry fees must be paid before event day
Any rule breaches may result in disqualification and ban from future competitions
