It is our absolute pleasure to announce The Future Shape of Sound will be gracing and shaking the stage for us at the very first ‘Lost Tracks Presents:’ live event on Saturday Dec 7, 8pm in the theatre at The Actors, Brighton
Having graced the stages of major UK festivals, like Glastonbury, Red Rooster, Boomtown & Womad, this electrifying 9-piece powerhouse bring to you their stunning blend of Funky Gospel Soul Groove Blues Rock’n’Rolll
Leading the divine ensemble is the iilustrious Captain Future, fronted by none other than the singing sensation who is Tomirae Brown - that's right - the widow of the legendary Godfather of Soul, Mr James Brown, and with The Divetes, on backing vocals, I’m personally guaranteeing they’ll take you to church*!
(*whether you come back is your own affair!).
Come on down, and let their dirty funk blow yo’ mind!
Also blowing yo’ mind with their own unique blends of dirty funk, will be regular selectors at the Lost Tracks nites - afrocatmusic and djbalou - who will be hosting the afterparty in the bar ‘til midnight
The Actors theatre will be the fabulous venue for our event. They’ve given the whole Lost Tracks album journey so much love & support from the start; it’s only fitting the very first ‘Lost Tracks Presents:’ Live Event should be held right here!
