The Lost Disco is an energetic dance experience for health & wellbeing. Join us as we use music to access spontaneous movement and activate our primal healing powers. Leave your expectations (and phones) behind and dance like no one is watching. Moving is healing : ) xIn the animal kingdom spontaneous movement is used to release trauma, humans used to know this but the knowledge has been lost in the sands of time. The purpose of this event is to reclaim our natural health boosting power of dance and get our bodies moving. The music will be modern, high-energy, electronic dance and the set list curated to help us tap into our primal selves.
This is a conscious space of no phones, drugs, alcohol or egos, when no-one is watching we can let go of our expectations and allow ourselves to submit to the rhythm and bass and move without embarrassment or judgment.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Price is on donation, proceeds will go to help the up-keep of Whangaparaoa Community Hall and also will be put towards the next event so please give generously : )
