Lost Beerhouses & Old Pubs of Southport

David will take you back to the developmant of Southport and how that ties in with the introduction of Beerhouses. The walk will stop at the site of former beerhouses, as well as visiting some of the oldest pubs in Southport town centre, to learn theior history and also to sample what they have on offer during Southport Beer Week. Please note- the talk will start at 1pm sharp outside The Mount Pleasant, arrive well in advance if you wish to have a drink here first, as we will move on the next stop after around 10/15 minutes of talking
