Join us for an intimate concert with Los Suplentes Duo in their first time in Croatia! Renowned tango musicians Hugo Satorre (bandoneon) and Emiliano Faryna (guitar)- both from Buenos Aires -bring their tango repertoire to Zagreb! In a cozy environment, we share tango music from some of the most talented traveling musicians sharing their craft. It’s a real honor to have them here, and a dream of mine to bring live music of the highest caliber to our Zagreb tango community.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Latin-Grammy-Nominee Hugo Satorre began his music career at the Juan José Castro Conservatory and the prestigious Universidad de San Martín. He studied with the most remarkable bandoneonists of our times including Walter Rios, Carlos Lazzari and Juan José Mosalini, and shared the stage with legends of the bandoneon world-Leopoldo Federico, Emilio Balcarce and Jose Libertela.
Hugo has performed in the most prestigious theatres and concert halls such Sydney Opera House (Australia), The Esplanade (Singapore), the Walt Disney Hall (Los Angeles, US), and Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He was the solo accompanist for Tenor Placido Domingo in Buenos Aires, on 9 de Julio Avenue, in front of 120,000 people.
Hugo is the 2013 Latin Grammy nominee with his "Duo Ramírez-Satorre, Piazzolla de Camara”. He is also a member of many international tango projects.
Hugo is a dedicated pedagogue in bandoneon education. He has compiled and written 10 books free for download for the international bandoneon community in multiple languages in his website http://hugoSatorre.com.ar/. He currently teaches bandoneón, tango history and musicality for dancers all over the world.
Emiliano Faryna is a composer, arranger and performer, who plays popular music on classical guitar, electric guitar and on guitarron. He plays and arranges a wide range of Argentine rhythms for diverse groups. Some of his main projects include:

* Alejandro Brittes - Chamame: A tipical chamame group, playing music from Corrientes
* Luisa Calcumil - Patagonian Folklore: Playing music from the South of Argentina
* Un Vagon de Tango - Tango: A Piazzolla-style Quintet
