This liturgical drama tells the personal story of the Nativity - not just that Jesus came to save but also to offer a path of redemption for a life well-lived. Specifically, this version of Los Pastores was first performed in the Mesilla Valley in 1961, shortening the 300-year-old script for the zarzuela (or operetta) and combining dialogue in English with songs in Spanish. There is no admission charge, but donations are welcome. The performance will be followed with refreshments and fellowship time. All are welcome to join us.
