Come together this Sunday for a Vigil for all those who have died at the hands of ICE or in detention. We will be at the Cypress Park Home Depot at 2055 N Figueroa St, LA 90065.
We will be utilizing our Died iIn Detention placards 36 died in the last year. Renee Nicole Good is one of 36 who have died in the last year. Another man SILVERIO VILLEGAS GONZALES was shot and killed by ICE agents, at a traffic stop while trying to drive away after dropping his 2 sons off at school, but it was not caught so graphically on video. This could a turning point in how it activates people.
The brutality MUST STOP.
Join the effort as we amp up our protests organizing and participating in actions at different locations and times, collaborating with other groups to have the most impact.
Sign up, and we will keep you informed on how the actions are evolving as we stand in solidarity with the 500 kidnapped from Home Depot parking lots across the Greater LA Area and the 35 that died due to kidnapping and detentions.
Across the country, immigrant communities are under attack — targeted by raids, detention, and dehumanizing policies that tear families apart. These tactics are being weaponized as part of a broader authoritarian crackdown that threatens the rights and freedoms of everyone.
We stand with NDOLN, IDEPSCA, and the larger Boycott Home Depot coalition to demand that Home Depot immediately: -Publicly condemn ICE raids -Stop cooperating with ICE – close stores and parking lots to agents -Protect workers and customers from attacks -Help detained victims and support their families -Release security video and other footage of enforcement actions at Home Depot stores
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
