Join us for the second annual Los Angeles Silent Film Festival, a thrilling celebration of silent cinema, taking place September 11–13, 2026 at the American Cinematheque’s Los Feliz 3!
Following a widely praised inaugural year, the festival returns with an exciting new program of rare restorations, newly preserved works, and special presentations—bringing the magic of early cinema back to the big screen.

All films will be presented with live scores by Musical Director Cliff Retallick and guest artists—just as audiences experienced them over a century ago.
Presented by Retroformat Silent Films in partnership with the American Cinematheque and Mount Saint Mary’s University, this one-of-a-kind festival is dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and rediscovering the art of silent cinema.
