Starting at Lordstones Country Park, the route quickly takes you up onto open moorland, with breathtaking views across the national park.
Known as the “three sisters”, the walk contains three inclines, and roughly 1400ft of elevation gain, so is by no means an easy walk, but you are quickly rewarded with views.
We will cross the “three sisters”, landing at the Wainstones, a distinctive rock formation famous for abseiling. We will then circle back through woodland and take the lower path all the way back to Lordstones
There is mixed terrain of open moorland, rocky, and woodland.
