Following the success of our first Backyard Ultra at Turvey House in October 2025, we’re excited to launch a brand-new event in a brand-new location…🏰 Loop Till You Drop Backyard Ultra at Delapré Abbey, Northampton
Join us in the stunning grounds of Delapré Abbey for our next instalment of this unique endurance challenge.
🌳 What is a Backyard Ultra?
A Backyard Ultra follows a simple, addictive format:
• Run a 4.167 mile (6.7 km) loop every hour, on the hour
• Finish the loop within the hour to stay in the race
• Start again at the top of the next hour… and repeat
• The event continues until there is only one runner left who can complete a solo lap
• All others receive a DNF, which is all part of the Backyard spirit!
Whether you're aiming for a new distance PB, tackling your first Backyard, or pushing for Last One Standing, this format is all about pacing, resilience, community, and seeing just how far you can go.
