About this Event

Wednesday, April 15 | Lookout Santa Cruz 4th District county supervisor forum

Join Lookout Santa Cruz at the Watsonville Civic Plaza, Community Room 9 (fourth floor), from 6 to 8 p.m. for a lively panel discussion this primary election season. Lookout’s Community Voices opinion editor, Jody K. Biehl, will host and moderate the event and will include time for questions from the audience.

Hear from the 4th District county supervisor candidates – Elias Gonzales, Tony Nuñez and incumbent Felipe Hernandez – as they vie for your vote.

The 4th District includes most of the Pajaro Valley, the city of Watsonville and Interlaken. A county supervisor is an elected official serving on a board that acts as the legislative and executive governing body for a county. They are responsible for setting local policies, approving the annual county budget, passing ordinances (laws), overseeing county departments such as public works and health, and managing land use in unincorporated areas.

Both Lookout members and non-members are invited to this session by RSVPing. If you’re not yet a member,
