Cobra | Bloomfield | Ages 21+On Friday March 20 Unionize is back at Cobra with another night of local love! Pink Camo, the superduo of Joshua Orange and Tony Resch, and creators of Everything The Light Touches (one of Cobra's first monthly parties), return to Cobra after burning down the place last June. Joining them, Pittsburgh staple and Cobra's longest standing event curator, Huny XO, returns to Cobra one last time for a night that's all about putting Pittsburgh's own front and center. Lastly, Senseishun will be returning to the Cobra booth one last time as well after putting on a show with their opening set for Justin Martin last fall. Don't miss our last Unionize event at Cobra showcasing so many talented locals and friends in the Void Soundsystem.
A union is a club, society, or association formed by people with a common interest or purpose. It's an organization formed by workers who join together and use their strength to have a voice in their workplace. Our union is for creators and fans of underground house & techno music in Pittsburgh coming together for a common cause on the Cobra dance floor. It's a place where we can bring back artists who have played for us in years past and showcase new artists in our organization yet to be discovered by our audience.

HUNY XO | MostBeautifullest | PGH
Bred in New York, NY and currently based in Pittsburgh (named Person of the Year in Music 2021 by Pittsburgh City Paper), huny's work in music and the visual arts is rooted in exalting Black women & QTBIPOC communities. As a co-founder and the Experience Lead of Honcho's Queer Fam Fund, as well as consulting on diversity outreach for other festivals and collectives, her mission to expand visibility and access in nightlife culture is a through-line in everything she tackles. Beyond PGH, huny has played NYC, LA, SF, Philly, Detroit, Puerto Vallarta, and Morelos, MX. Her festival credits include Honcho Campout, Somos, Desertopia, and Bahidora. Referred to as a "rising star" by LA's Muy Muy Limited and a "Pittsburgh staple" by Resident Advisor, her sets are best described as highly danceable and genre-defying: club, house, techno, dancehall, hip-hop...anything with a nasty beat and embedded in Blackness can get it.

Pink Camo is a NYC based electronic music duo comprised of Joshua Orange and Anthony Resch (Royal Haunts). Orange and Resch hail from Detroit and Pittsburgh respectively, bringing a distinct Midwest grit and energy to the emerging sounds of NYC. Their electric live shows have landed them performances alongside prestigious artists such as Derrick Carter, DJ Moma, Huny, Turtle Bugg, Justin Cudmore, John Collins (Underground Resistance), Mike Servito, Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Rose Kourts and DJ Seinfeld. Their recent work on remixes for River Moon and Sasha Rome sees the duo further develop a cutting edge Club inspired sound. Both beautiful and innately powerful, Pink Camo’s recordings and live performances are quickly propelling their singular chemistry to the national stage.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
