About this Event
The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to climb aboard the eco-buggy with Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann and Environmental Specialist Holly Giles to explore Longleaf Pine Preserve. We’ll make a few stops along the way and use magnifying glasses and microscopes to help us discover the plants and animals that live here.
** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.
ACTIVITY: The tour will take place on a hay-ride style, covered trailer with benches. There will be some easy, short walks as well.
RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.
TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.
AGES: All ages are welcome.
ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors
WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray
FACILITIES: There are no bathroom facilities on site.
