About this Event
Join Edmonton-based social worker and university educator Kristy Harcourt for an exploration of an Edmonton lesbian history archive.
This presentation and discussion explores how an archive can be a playful place for queer people to connect. After a presentation and discussion, participants will take part in a hands-on exploration of an Edmonton lesbian archive.
Archive Dive’s goals are to promote social connections especially for lesbian, queer, and trans people, to counter erasure and raise awareness of lesbian and queer history, and to build opportunities for intergenerational and trans-inclusive dialogue.
Materials from the Hamilton 2SLGBTQ+ Community Archive will also be on display.
About the Presenter:

Sponsored by the Centre for Community-Engaged Narrative Arts, L.R. Wilson Institute for Canadian History, and 2SLGBTQ+ Local History and Archives.
