About this Event
We celebrate seminal, ground-breaking albums across multiple genres by hand picking two and playing them in full.
For this edition we're heading to London in 2002 with Ms Dynamite's A Little Deeper - a gem of an album that went on to win the Mercury Prize and The Streets' Original Pirate Material - a home made cult classic (not best seller) with almost back-to-back bangers. It changed the game and Mike Skinner has since become something of a national treasure.
If you know these albums then you'll be there to hear them loud whilst enjoying some chat and drinks with like-minded music lovers.
It’s all about enjoying the albums in full and LOUD! An experience we feel is rare and an environment we feel is worth creating.
The Bees Mouth basement will become a music-appreciation boudoir with cosy, low-light ambience and velvet walls. We also invite a guest DJ to spin deep cuts, b-sides or whatever else they fancy that fits with the vibe.
Free entry. Donations welcome. Music from 7:30pm-late.
