White Tara is a female enlightened being whose function is to bestow long life wisdom and good fortune. Because Tara is also the manifestation of the wind element of all Buddhas we can quickly receive her blessings. By relying upon her with faith we can also quickly receive her protection from contagious diseases and other external dangers.
The Saturday morning empowerment is a blissful guided meditation to develop a deep connection with and receive powerful inspiration from this Buddha that will quickly develop our spiritual potential for Enlightenment.
During the Saturday afternoon commentary Gen Zamling will explain how we can rely upon Tara in our daily life and practice. By coming under the care of this compassionate enlightened Being we feel we have a powerful spiritual ally guiding and protecting us.
Sunday's brief guided retreat will provide an opportunity to practice the meditations that help us draw closer to Buddha Tara and to develop her special enlightened qualities.
No previous experience is necessary and absolutely everyone is welcome.
