Loneliness Café seeks to bring individuals together to discuss, explore, and consider appropriate steps to address loneliness in ourselves and in our greater community. Led by Executive Director Travis Smith, this gathering is a new offering from Blue Ridge Hope, in connection with Temple of Seaweed and Deep Time Coffee. It is created to open compassionate and meaningful conversations about the human experience of loneliness.
The first of its kind, Loneliness Café is inspired by the Death Café model, providing a safe, welcoming space where open dialogue, mutual understanding, and genuine connection can take root. We may arrive as strangers, but we seek to leave the experience more deeply connected to the oneness we already share.
