Every dish you’ll prepare honors the remarkable agricultural community that supplies Central Market and nourishes our state.

This evening is about more than cooking—it’s about connection. You’ll meet the ranchers and growers behind these exceptional ingredients, hear their stories, and gain a deeper appreciation for the craft and care that go into every bite.

Guided by our expert chef instructors, you’ll roll up your sleeves and cook a stunning dinner from start to finish, mastering professional techniques while working with the finest Texas-raised and Texas-grown ingredients.

Behind each dish is a story—from theo to the innovative producers behind Texas Ibérico pork and Texas Capra lamb. Tonight, you’ll cook with their extraordinary products, hear their journeys firsthand, and leave with a deeper connection to the land, the people, and the flavors that make Texas cuisine truly exceptional.

For ages 13 & up. For ages 21 and up, your multi-course dinner will be paired with wines from top Texas vineyards, highlighting the richness of our state’s wine country. Prefer not to drink? Enjoy our festive house-made blueberry mocktail crafted with Texas-grown berries.

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
