London Street Photography Workshop with Matt Hall

Join me, Matt Hall (@the13thsecond), on a photography workshop on the streets of London and learn how to see things differently around the city.

This group session will be a great introduction to the basics of street photography and will offer further insights in the following areas:

• Getting over the fear of shooting strangers on the streets.

• What to look out for, anticipation and how to work a scene.

• Composition, framing and subframing techniques.

• How to isolate your subject.

• Layering interest in your work.

• Introducing textures.

In keeping a small group on this workshop, I will able to offer clear instructions to the group and also be able to spend time with the individual participants, answering any specific questions that they may have.

Meeting at Liverpool Street Station the group will follow a preplanned route taking in various locations, finishing the workshop at approximately 3.30pm.

Please wear comfortable shoes, suitable clothing for the weather and bring your camera of choice (with spare batteries). There will be plenty of opportunity to grab some refreshment along the route but bringing a bottle of water is advised.
