The 2026 outdoor season shifts into high gear as we return to the track for an action-packed day of racing. Open to skaters of all ages and abilities, this event features a programme designed to test explosive power, mid-distance speed, and the tactical grit required for long-distance success. The 1 lap time trial is the perfect test of your "engine"; it's all between you and the clock. The rarely run 800m, run as straight races without heats, will be a fast, high stakes battle. In the combined Elimination, lap by lap, the pack thins as the rear skater is removed from the race. Old favourite the Intercategory knockout closes out proceedings.Whether you are a seasoned Category 1 racer or a novice taking your first steps into competitive skating, this event offers the perfect platform to sharpen your skills. The Federation’s electronic timing provides live (provisional) results and precision telemetry direct to your device.
Medals earned at this event will be added to the clubs medal tally for the overall 2025/26 season (not to be confused with the Championship medal table); seize this opportunity to earn further glory for your Club.
Helmets are a mandatory requirement for all FISS affiliated events. As with any activity, there is a risk of injury therefore please wear suitable protective equipment according to your needs/ability.
Entries close on 26th April at midnight.
There are no late entries or on-the-day registration with the exception of novices who we encourage to enter online wherever possible, but may enter on the day
