Lola is a York County native who has lived across the US and abroad, but always returns to her roots and now lives in Red Lion. Her career in IT began when computer science was considered close to alchemy, designing and implementing software for the Univac III mainframe computer. She escaped the computer room numerous times to take jobs as a diver, shrimp boat crew, fishing net mender and even a house cleaner in Spain.
In retirement she has found a creative outlet with a glass fusing kiln. Her passion for beautiful glass has resulted in jewelry and dishes that catch the light and explode with color.
Yoga, long walks on the rail trail, classic rock & symphony concerts and travel to exotic places fill her spare time.
