What are we really asking when we ask about “meaning”?
In this Logos & Dharma gathering, we explore how different traditions have responded to the apparent collapse of inherited meaning—without rushing to replace it with false certainty. Drawing from Buddhist thought, existential philosophy, and Western ethics, we’ll examine nihilism, the absurd, and the human longing for orientation and value.
Together we’ll reflect on thinkers such as Nietzsche, Camus, the Stoics, Buddhist teachings on emptiness and non-clinging, and share individual insight.
This is not a lecture or a debate, but a shared inquiry grounded in presence, dialogue, and lived experience.
