Homeless For the NightApproximately 32,882 veterans are homeless in America today. To raise awareness of this sad truth the CIVC is participating in creating a mock homeless encampment, and we will camp for the night in cardboard boxes. Event is held in Memorial Park on Friday evening, April 24th 6pm - Saturday morning, April 25th, 9am
Participants pay a fee for a box they can turn into a shelter for the night. We are encouraging campers to raise a minimum of $100.00 but all donations will be excepted. Teams are encouraged to participate, raising dollars through sponsorship. All proceeds go to CIVC to help pay for a tiny home for a veteran.
