Soup
I planned to make an onion-free chicken noodle soup--with noodles on the side--for Isadore. Alas, she's going skiing instead of going to LocoTango. I will forgive her, but I'm at a bit of a loss for what soup we need this weekend. Tell me. Can you be Isadore for a day? If so, give me your wish for soup. (and no, I will not let you use her paper and colored markers. we have boundaries.)
Loki & AJ Teach
Normally I'm busy being busy during class and I cannot remember the last time I found myself free to take a class. Oh wait. It was last month, with Loki and AJ. They taught the shadow embrace. I was impressed with the level of organization and careful detail they put into it. We were all doing bits and pieces of it soon enough, and all-the-while mindful of the structural changes needed.
I hope to take this class again, and hopefully we will develop a critical mass of people who can accept the lead to transition into shadow...and back.
Grisha DJ's
I'm unsure why, but it's been a minute since Grisha has DJ'd for Loco. He keeps the tandas "just interesting enough" with rare tango renditions from eastern Europe and elsewhere, without losing us as dancers. I'm excited to dance to what he brings.
Mysterious Black Shoe Markings
We've been leaving black shoe marks on the dance floor. Please check your shoes for their ability to make marks and make the necessary changes. We will need to check upon entry, as they're a bit out of control. Okay? Thank you.
