Why/Learning Goals
- Understanding of different types of locks and their security
Requirements:
-Attendees must be 18+ years old to participate in workshop
-Attendees must sign a waiver before participating in workshop
Workshop will cover the following:
- Learn different types of locks
- Learn Applications for certain types of locks
- Learn different uses for picks
- Learn how to pick
- How do locks work?
- How do we decide what locks to use? How did the designs change over time and how did it relate to making things more or less secure?
- How do we apply locks to create a sense of security?

Bio: Javier is an intermediate-level locksport enthusiast who has a collection of over 20 locks. His interests are locksport, building tables, and doing murals with Cassa Jam.
