Lockerbie's Garden Party

Join us on the grounds of the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home for our 3rd annual Lockerbie's Garden Party.

Each April, we welcome Spring and kick-off our outdoor event season with this free admission, family and pet friendly event!

The garden party features an outdoor market on the grounds, where vistors can shop local vendors featuring plants, flowers, nature artwork, pet apparel and treats, refreshing home decor, books and more!

Have your caricature drawn with four legged best friend by a local artist, Josh Smart. Learn gardening and planting tips from local vendors, and take home your own paw portrait at our dog friendly painting activity. All sales from the non-alcoholic beverage station on-site will benefit Riley Children's Foundation.

• Sketchy Mutts - The organization will be on site with several adotable pups! Learn more about this great organization, pet some puppies, and perhaps bring home a new family member!
• Perasma Book Company - The Broad Ripple based bookstore will have a variety of gardening and pet realted books for sale.
• The Dirt Bar - Order your own custom potted plants or learn how to enhance your own at the Dirt Bar!
• JB Treats – Pick up the perefect treat for your pooch.
• Ruth’s Garden Indy – Selling a variety of indoor plants to bring the beauty of spring into your home.
• Helmer & Huggins Pet Apparel – Find a locally made cute outfit for your cat or dog at Helmer and Huggins booth.
• King Louie Crafts - Artist Claire Shipley makes and sells beautiful pet and garden themed stationary and cards.
• Forever Lovely Creations – Wonderful handmade jewlery and home decor featuring many natural and floral elements.
• Deborah Champlin – Check out the garden inspired fine art of Indiana painter, Deborah Champlin.
