About this Event
In a world that feels increasingly complex, fast-moving, and emotionally heavy, how do we make sense of it all—and more importantly, how do we support one another through it?
Local Talks: Heavy Minds in Heavy Times brings together leading voices in behavioral science, mental health, and community care for a powerful, grounded conversation about what it means to navigate today’s challenges with awareness, resilience, and connection.
Moderated by behavioral science consultant and mental health advocate Dr. Justin O’Rourke of the Community Mental Health Project, this conversation will explore how the way we think, communicate, and relate to one another shapes not only our individual well-being, but the strength of our communities.
The panel will unpack the realities many are facing right now—mental strain, uncertainty, decision fatigue—and offer meaningful insight into how we can better understand ourselves, support others, and build systems that truly serve.
This is more than a panel. It’s a space for honest conversation, shared perspective, and collective growth.
Because even in heavy times, we don’t have to carry it alone.
