In this presentation, you'll learn how to ID types of local bees, what resources they need, the threats they face, and some steps we can take to help them. The presentation will include where to find helpful plant lists, how to provide nest sites, and how you can contribute to citizen science projects. You'll also get preliminary results from an ongoing research study of bumble bee diversity and flower preferences in St. Joseph County.
