Course Description

Part B Clinical - Clinical component of Local Anesthesia Administration for Dental Hygienists training. Participants must bring a copy of your current Florida Dental Hygiene license and copy (both sides) of current BLS for Healthcare Provider signed card to the first day of clinical. This course was designed to meet the requirements outlined by Florida Statute 466.017 for Administration of Local Anesthesia by Dental Hygienists. The coursework consists of two components - 30 hours of lecture and 30 hours of clinical - for a total of 60 contact hours.

Successful completion of both the lecture and clinical components is required to apply for Florida Certification in Local Anesthesia.

SUBSTITUTE STUDENTS ARE ONLY ALLOWED DUE TO MEDICAL REASONS AND DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PROVIDED.
