A Taste of New England in the Nevada Desert
Since 1969, Christ Church Episcopal has brought the charm of a classic New England fair to Las Vegas with its beloved Lobster Fair. Held each fall, this vibrant community event transforms the church’s Hunt Memorial Patio into a festive seaside scene, complete with fishing nets, and nautical décor—evoking the atmosphere of the Maine coast.
The fair features nonstop live entertainment, family-friendly games and activities, a bustling marketplace, and crowd favorites like the silent auction, raffle prizes, and church tours to view the largest pipe organ in Nevada.
Of course, the real star is the food! Guests can savor a wide variety of delicious homemade dishes, including:
- New England clam chowder
- Shrimp ceviche
- Seafood gumbo
- Complete turkey dinner
- Fresh sourdough bread
- Authentic Hispanic cuisine
- Homemade baked goods
Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a fun-filled day out, this event has something for everyone. Live and steamed lobster are available for purchase in advance and during the fair.

Admission is free. Live and steamed lobsters can be purchased through the Lobster Fair website or during the fair. Lobsters purchased through Oct. 12 will receive an early bird discount.
Lobster Fair is an annual fundraiser for Christ Church Episcopal. Proceeds benefit youth programs, the spiritual growth of the church community, the church facilities, and outreach to the community surrounding the church. Christ Church distributes groceries to hundreds of families in need and homeless individuals.
