About this Event
Spring is a great time to visit Picchetti Ranch. We'll Look for signs of frogs and newts or catch sight of a duck floating by at the pond, hike through shaded areas lush with ferns and a view of Stevens Creek Reservoir on the Zinfandel Trail, and finish off with an optional picnic style lunch.
Join us on Sunday, March 15th at 9:30am! We'll plan to hike out and back on the Zinfandel Trail, which is generally considered a moderate trail, 4.1 miles long, 633 ft in elevation gain. See image below for trail profile.
If we are lucky, we'll see lots of signs of spring, like the start of flowering plants, a flowing creek, and newts/slugs!
We will provide snacks and some food. But please feel free to pack a lunch, preferred snacks.
Please also be sure to dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes, and bring plenty of water.
