About this Event
Join us at Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Russian Ridge Preserve on Sunday, April 19th at 8:30am.
In the spring this preserve explodes with color as the native wildflowers – primarily poppies and lupine – put on a showy display. By May and June, gumweed, mules ears, farewell-to-spring, and brodiaea bloom. Lets go see what we find!
The trail has zero shade, so be prepared with sun protection. The trail is about 2 miles long total, and has a gentle incline of about 305ft elevation gain. Its great for the whole family, but it is not ADA accessible. Stollers with sturdy/trail/outdoor wheels may work.
NO PETS
At the end of the event, we will have some snacks and flautas de pollo! We will also raffle off a couple pocket flower guides and LO branded gear.

PLEASE only RSVP if you can committ to attending. We want to make sure we have an accurate headcount, and make sure we have enough supplies/food.
In spring, parking at Russian Ridge can be limited, particularly during peak hours on the weekends, so please arrive early, plus the earlier we start, the less hot it'll be too. If you plan to come with family or friends, please consider carpooling.
