His short fiction can be found at Eggplant Emoji Lit, and at Literary Veganism: An Online Journal. His work was also chosen as a finalist in last year’s Patty Friedmann Short Fiction Contest, and is forthcoming in Illustrated World’s Magazine. Max publishes under the pseudonym Max Rauhman.
Constance Adler’s first novel is Sight Unseen from ELJ Editions in 2025. She is the author of the memoir My Bayou, New Orleans Through the Eyes of a Lover (Michigan State University Press) and her stories have appeared in Oxford American, Utne Reader, Garden & Gun Magazine, River Teeth Journal, Blackbird, Peauxdunque Review, and LMNL Anthology, among others. A graduate of Smith College, she holds an MA in Creative Writing from Hollins University. Adler makes her home near Bayou Saint John in New Orleans.
Joshua Gottlieb-Miller is the author of two books of poetry: Dybbuk Americana (Wesleyan University Press) and The Art of Bagging (Conduit Books & Ephemera). He has been awarded support from Yetzirah, University of Houston, the Yiddish Book Center, and elsewhere. He teaches at San Jacinto College, and lives in Houston with his wife and son. Carolyn Hembree's third poetry collection, For Today, was published by LSU Press. She has been awarded the Trio Award, the Rochelle Ratner Memorial Award, an ATLAS grant from the Louisiana Board of Regents, and grants and fellowships from PEN, the Louisiana Division of the Arts, and the Southern Arts Federation. She is a professor in the MFA program at the University of New Orleans and serves as the poetry editor of Bayou Magazine. www.carolynhembree.com
