‼️The Large Model Association’s biggest and most popular show returns to Elvington Airfield, Yorkshire for the LARGEST model airshow in the north‼️✈️ The usual wide range of large model aircraft will be in attendance (keep an eye on our socials on the run up to the show for which models will be attending!)
🎡🚂 New for this year, we will have many other ground attractions alongside the airshow for visitors to look around (Final details currently being finalised & will be shared on social media/ our website event page once confirmed):
- Lots of different Classic cars
- Minature steam train rides
- Stationery steam engines & traction engine
- Inflatable Assault course (for both adults & kids)
- Kids fun fair rides
- Military Display
- RC Truck/ buggy racing
- Pre WW2 Race Car Cyclecar racing
- Lots of different local craft stalls/ traders
- Food & Drink vendors
🤝There will be a car boot style swapmeet. Which for those of you attending that aren’t in the hobby, this is a chance for people to buy/ sell their used models & equipment!
🛍️ We have had a fantastic response to trade pitches this year, both RC and other trades/ arts/ crafts. A confirmed list of traders will be shared in the near future, so keep an eye on this event page/ our main page/ website event page for updates.
😱 Why not checkout the onsite Yorkshire Air Museum as part of your visit? A real hidden gem with many fantastic aircraft to look around and includes a 10% discount off entry on provision of your show ticket.
⏰ The show gates open approx 8:30am each day, with flying to start around 10am through until around 5pm (times subject to change).
🏕️ Is one day simply not enough? Onsite camping is available for all, from 10am Friday morning until 10am Monday morning. There will be toilets, fresh water points and elsan disposal on site. Evening entertainment including music, fun fair rides, food/ drink vans open late and even some informal night flying with lights/ music etc from the pilots to watch!
🎟️ Tickets are available to buy online NOW via the LMA website or you can purchase on the gate, on the day via cashless transaction!
