Author Carmen Evelyn G. Nuyda brings Lizzy: The Elizabeth Keckley Story to life through a dynamic reading accompanied by a series of short performances featuring music, fashion, storytelling, and visual expression.
This experiential gathering honors Mrs. Keckley’s elegance, craftsmanship, resilience, and self-expression. The evening invites reflection on her extraordinary journey and cultural impact.
